Most people from western countries have an exaggerated opinion about the role of the role and duties of Eastern European wives. The Ukraine wife, for example, is not as badly treated, as Western women allegedly say. They think these women are surely persecuted, beaten by their men and used as some sort of slave, undermining her abilities. They also think the men are very disrespectful, and treat their wives as inferior to themselves. In Ukraine, the children are very often raised by their grandparents.

Due to the financial problems the country has had to deal with, women have learned to grow very strong and be able to do a man’s and a woman’s work, all in 24 hours.

The Ukraine wife is a very determined, intelligent and hard-working, and that is the reason why marriages do not fall apart so easily in their country.
